Once applied, these compounds flow easily and settle into a perfectly flat layer, making them an ideal base for a variety of final floor finishes. Cementitious levelling compounds

At BW Screeding, we offer self-levelling compounds that can be installed at depths ranging from 2mm to 50mm, making them suitable for almost any screed or concrete substrate. These fibre-reinforced, fast-setting products provide a durable, smooth finish for a variety of applications, whether residential, commercial, or industrial.

Our compounds set quickly, allowing tiled finishes after just 8 hours and most other finishes within 24 hours (at 20°C, depending on thickness). Their fast-setting nature helps reduce project timelines, while their fibre reinforcement ensures strength and flexibility, preventing cracking and enhancing adhesion to the substrate.

Proper substrate preparation is key for optimal results. The surface must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants to ensure strong adhesion. In some cases, a suitable primer may be recommended to improve bonding and prevent issues like bubbling or delamination.

Latex based levelling compounds

Our latex-based levelling compounds are specially formulated with a latex additive instead of water, providing enhanced flexibility. This makes them ideal for substrates that experience movement, such as wood, old adhesive residues, bitumen, and ceramic tiles.

These compounds can be applied directly to most surfaces without the need for a primer, including flooring grade plywood and ceramic tiles. The latex additive ensures flexibility, making it perfect for areas prone to slight expansion or movement.

The product is moisture-resistant and offers quick turnaround times—foot traffic is possible after just 2 hours, floor coverings can be installed after 4 hours, and ceramic tiles can be applied after 3 hours. This makes it a fast, reliable solution for creating a smooth, level base in both residential and commercial projects.

I did a lot of research and contacted around 8 different companies for quotes, BW Screeding came in at the second-to-last lowest price *but* their response was the most detailed, providing different options and even calling me to discuss what we were trying to achieve. I explained the screed was for underfloor heating and Dyan talked me through various options and we settled on Cemfloor. The team arrived early morning and had the job completed by the end of the day, we had a slight bump in one area which they sorted with no complaints at all. The admin side were really helpful and efficient (thanks Clare & Melanie) and explained the various options clearly. The guys doing the job arrived up on time at 7:30, got straight on with the job, tidied up really well and were away by 9:30! The floor is exactly as ordered, perfectly flat and so far no cracks. Despite the guys turning up the day before and sending through a request for 4.5sqm the lorry from the suppliers turned up with only 3sqm… the mistake was only realised once the lorry was empty… The 3 young lads were absolutely amazing! They were not going home until I the customer was happy, not that I was unhappy in the first place! Despite it being 4pm and them facing a 4 hour journey home, they ordered the extra 1.5m and waited patiently until it arrived. I never at any point felt that the job was rushed or compromised in any way! 5 stars all round to these amazing young lads !!!

Came out within days to check out whether what I wanted was viable and then returned promptly to get the job done. Work was completed quickly and unbelievably cleanly to say they mixed on site. Everyone was efficient and really pleasant to deal with, from the ladies in the office to the chaps that did the work.
